Acquisition of Locarest by the Loxam Group
As part of its development strategy, the Loxam Group has acquired the company
Locarest, a rental company founded in 1957 in Alsace. Since August 2006 Locarest’s
capital has been shared between the EPF Partners fund, the management team and
family shareholders.
This company will be linked to Loueurs de France, strengthening its network on the
Eastern part of France and its range for a better service to its customers in the
construction and landscaping sectors. The merger of these 2 units will constitute a
national network of 115 branches.
The current team led by Mr Pascal Burg will keep on managing Locarest.
Following this acquisition, the French market share of the Loxam Group is estimated to
21% and the group reinforces its leading position in Europe with a network of
608 branches.
