To make rental even more interactive, Loxam launches new iPhone app

In 2009, Loxam became the first global equipment rental company to provide its customers with a mobile app to simplify their lives. Ever improving its offer by adding relevant services, the European leader in equipment rental has just launched the version 2 of its iPhone app. Completely revamped, the app is designed to enhance interactivity between the brand and its customers.

Continuing the services which made version 1 such a success, the 2011 version of the LOXAM app makes it just as easy to locate the closest branch via satellite navigation, to see the current special offers, and to access all the construction industry menus… To give its users a personalised service and technical assistance and to allow them to instantly see everything the Loxam Group has to offer, the new iPhone app also provides an instant connection to the LOXCALL service, ensuring a tailored response to every customer’s needs.
With over 10,000 downloads in its first year, this app has proved to be a welcome solution among iPhone owners. Now, in order to offer even greater interactivity, Loxam has chosen to launch a new version of the Loxam for iPhone app.

Version 2.0 of the Loxam app is the gateway to total interactivity between the rental provider, its remote services and the customer. From now on, this new version will offer the main functionalities available on the website www.loxam.fr.

On a daily basis, mobile Internet users can find out about new products and services and (sale or rental) promotional offers at all times. They can also stay up to date with news about the European leader in equipment rental.

To involve its customers and increase brand loyalty in a fun way, Loxam is launching a section entitled ‘Mission Reporter’, posting photos online of the top ten standout building sites. The multimedia element also extends to the integration of the LOXAM YouTube video channel, which broadcasts videos of the new equipment for rental from Loxam.

With customer service always in mind, the LOXAM 2.0 app also enables its users to fill in a quotation request form in just a few seconds, making it even easier to rent equipment at any place and at any time. Industry professionals have clearly hotly anticipated this update, because the new version of the app has already had over 8,000 downloads since its launch.
